This is a 16 bit machine that introduced high quality video and sound despite it's slow CPU. This was aimed to compete with the Sega Mega Drive / Sega Saturn and boy did it compete. This was one of the fiercest video game battles in history with the SNES now selling 49.10 million.
Some of it's most famous games are Super Mario Kart and Street Fighter 2.
